ANTHONY JOSHUA told Andy Ruiz Jr in the ring after beating him that “next time we go to f***ing war”.
Brit superstar AJ exacted revenge on the Mexican-American in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night to reclaim the IBF, WBA, IBO and WBO heavyweight titles.
Following the bout, the Watford-born boxer was immediately confronted with TWO mandatory challengers in Kubrat Pulev and Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua himself revealed that he wants to finally take on Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder next year and thinks he can beat them both.
But footage from inside the ring following his win over Ruiz Jr has emerged to suggest a trilogy fight could be on the cards.
In a video uploaded by Matchroom Boxing on YouTube, the fight between the two in Diriyah has just finished and AJ is reveling in his win.
Despite the chaos, the 30-year-old takes the time to chat with Ruiz’s coach Manny Robles, saying: “Yo, respect, Listen, if you need anything, you’re always welcome.
“I’ll do whatever I can do. If there’s a third fight, I think it would be good for the sport.”
This is about setting up the trilogy. We’ll go blow to blow. We’ll go to f***ing war.

Joshua later repeated his ambition of a third fight with Ruiz Jr himself.
He added: “I told Manny something. The trilogy, I like the f***ing fight.
“This is about setting up the trilogy.
“We’ll go blow to blow. We’ll go to f***ing war.”
Ruiz, who blamed gaining ‘too much weight’ as the reason for losing his heavyweight titles, has already claimed to take training more seriously if he’s granted a rematch.
He weighed in at 283lbs for the rematch – a STONE heavier than the night he dethroned AJ at Madison Square Garden.
And Ruiz said: “It was his night. I didn’t prepare how I should have.
“I gained too much weight. I don’t want to give excuses, he won. He boxed me around. If we do a third fight you best believe I’m going to get in shape. I’ll be in the best shape of my life.
“I thought I was going to feel stronger. Next fight I’m going to get more prepared. I tried to train myself for this.
“I was chasing him too much. I was hesitating too much.”
