Ryan Poehling was on the ice with the Canadiens when they hit the ice for practice at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, a day after being called up from the AHL’s Laval Rocket.

In 13 games with the Rocket, Poehling had 3-2-5 totals and was minus-2. The Canadiens selected Poehling in the first round (25th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.
Kotkaniemi had 2-1-3 totals in 12 games with the Canadiens before being put on the injured-reserve list.
Here’s how the lines and defence pairings looked at Monday’s practice:
Tatar – Danault – Gallagher
Drouin – Domi – Armia
Lehkonen – Poehling – Byron
