KYLE WALKER is clearly a huge fan of Pep Guardiola.
And rightly so. He has developed as a defender and won back-to-back Premier League titles.
But he is taking his adoration a little bit too far.
Fans hilariously pointed out that he is now trying to LOOK like his Manchester City manager.
That’s right, Kyle Walker is morphing into Pep Guardiola, honestly.
A brilliant screengrab from City’s Premier League Asia Trophy game against Wolves on Saturday led to the secret admirer being caught out.
The England defender, 29, is sporting a new look for pre-season with a shaved head.
And people cannot ignore the fact that it looks very similar indeed to his own boss’ sharp trim.
One said: “Kyle Walker is slowly morphing into Pep Guardiola.”
Another asked: “Why does Walker look like a Guardiola/Kompany love child with his new trim?”
A third wrote: “Looks like Kyle Walker’s trying to copy Pep Guardiola’s hairstyle.”
And finally one user tweeted: “Kyle Walker must be stressssed currently sporting the Pep Guardiola trim.”
Walker is not immune to a bit of self-deprecating fun on social media and mocked himself by posting a picture from the win over West Ham with his face aged.
He wrote: “First game of pre season got me feeling like…”
The Three Lions full-back was no doubt pulling his hair out when he heard rumours linking Manchester City with Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo earlier in the summer transfer window.
Walker and his City team-mates have two more games on their tour of the Far East before heading back to England.
They take on Liverpool in the Community Shield in their final pre-season friendly on August 4.
Then the Etihad side will begin their campaign to win a third consecutive Premier League title by travelling to West Ham on the opening weekend.
And Walker will no doubt be desperate to keep in Guardiola’s good books this season after being dropped for three games after Christmas last term.
